Trip in Time: Oakland Christmas Pageant

Every year from 1919 to 1987, the children of Oakland’s elementary and junior high schools performed in the Oakland Christmas Pageant as a gift to the people of the city. Louise Jorgensen, of the Parks and Recreation Department, organized, choreographed and taught each program every year.
